INTRODUCTION
SUNBEAM PULVIGATOR is designed for coarse grinding (pre-crushing) of all Minerals, Fireclay/China Clay, Coal, Bone, Herb, making Mica Flakes, etc. either dry or wet.
SUNBEAM Pulvigator is the most advanced generation of M.S. Fabricated Disintegrator and suitable for coarse grinding in 4 mm to dust mixed size.
This machine is M.S. fabricated hence no chance of breaking due to the grinding impact or malhandling as it happens in C.I. body type Disintegrators.
A 360° round (two pieces) slotted Iron type Screen fitted covers whole of the grinding chamber, resulting double production comparing to a same size Disintegrator applying same H.P. and in same grinding time.
Large inspection window is provided on the top of the machine for changing Hammers, without dismantling the whole machine.
Two Heavy Duty adjustable Taper Roller Bearings enclosed in Blocks within a short distance are used in this machine to avoid any bending of Shaft due to heavy and sudden impact while grinding. The advantage of Taper Roller Bearing is it can be adjusted as and when required to adjust the play of the Bearings due to wear & tear. Also nozzles for pouring lubricating oil in the Bearings are provided on the Blocks. Due to all that Bearing system of our machine is trouble free, long lasting and robust than that of ordinary Ball Bearings used in Disintegrators.
All parts like Hammers, Screen, etc. are made of M.S. and can be rebuilt at local workshops by simple electric welding, hence no need to buy new spares every time.
There is no room like Chamber with concrete roof and door required to install this machine as required in case of Disintegrator. This machine can be installed on Iron structure or simply on three brick walls and two channels. Finished material can be taken out directly into bags/buckets through Delivery Chute continuously without stopping the machine.
A Dust collector system is attached with the machine for minimizing the dust pollution while grinding and also collects air blown fine particles in a separate Cone as a valuable by-product.

PRINCIPLES OF FUNCTION
Raw material fed through Feed Hopper enter into the grinding chamber. The impact of Hammers on the feed material against the Liner Plates and also the inter-collision of particles reduce the material into powder of 4-100 mesh (mixed) passes through gap of slotted Iron Screen and discharges through bottom.
In models with Dust Pollution Control System, the Blower sucks the air blown fine particles, blows it through Pipe Lines for collection in the Cyclonic Dust Collector Cone where super fine particles are trapped by the filter cloth bags and air is vented out partially. Return air goes to the grinding chamber again through the pipe to complete the air circuit without emitting the dust to the surroundings.
PULVIGATOR WITH DUST POLLUTION CONTROL ARRANGEMENT
Dust Pollution Control System attached to Pulvigator is ideal for pollution free grinding of dusty minerals. The system not only prevents dust nuisance while grinding but also collects air blown fine particles as valuable by-product, in a separate Cone. No extra power of motor is required to run this system.

Special type of Screen & Hammers are provided for grinding hard & abrasive materials like Quartz, Feldspar, Quartzite, etc.

WET GRINDING SUNBEAM PULVIGATOR can be used for grinding materials like China Clay, Graphite, etc. with water stream for Benefication/Levigation purpose.
OPERATION & MAINTENANCE
Rotation of the machine should always be as per the arrow mark shown. | |
Before starting every day, pour 100 ml. lubricating oil in both the Bearings. | |
Use the Hammers of equal weights opposite each other to avoid any vibration. | |
A window is provided on the upper part of the Screen from where the Hammers are to be changed. | |
Every Nuts & Bolts, pins of the Hammers of the machine to be minutely checked before starting the machine. | |
Different types of Screens can be used for different mesh. | |
Light greasing of Bearings to be done once in a month. | |
In Pulvigator with Dust Pollution Control system Pipe Lines and Cloth Tubes to be cleaned by light hammering. | |
