Introduction
 INTRODUCTION

SUNBEAM PULVERISING MILL is a complete grinding unit of heavy duty and continuous working without any awkward effect. The grinding unit is specially designed for the fine grinding of minerals, ochres, Talc, Wollastonite, calcite, Marble, Hydrated Lime, Lime Stone, Red Oxide, Soap Stone, Dolomite, etc. In fine mesh

SUNBEAM PULVERISING MILL meet all capacity requirements with facility to adjust the fineness of various mesh.

SUNBEAM PULVERISING MILL is fitted with a Double Conical Air Classifier mounted on the main Grinding Chamber to control the fineness of the product.

A powerful separate Empeller type Blower unit is fitted to blow air into the grinding chamber to push the powder into the Air Classifier for classification of fine powder and rejection of coarser particles for regrinding.

A Roll Feeder type Auto-feeding arrangement with a big Hopper (Bin) is fitted on the grinding chamber for continuous feeding of material into the machine by auto-propelled system.

 BRIEF SPECIFICATIONS
TypeSwing Hammer Impact Mill with Double Conical Air Classifier fitted on the top of the Mill and separate Blower unit.
BodyM.S. Plate Fabricated supported with strong angle Iron frame in two parts, bolted together for easy opening. Mounted on Chassis made of M.S. Channels of ample dimension.

Cyclonic Dust CollectorMade of M.S. Sheets having 9 openings for fitting filter cloth bags for collecting fine air blown particles to prevent pollution.
Pipe LinesMade of M.S. Sheets flanged and bolted in pieces for easy operation having inspection windows for cleaning jams.
Principles of Function
  PRINCIPLES OF FUNCTION

Raw material poured into the Hopper automatically fed into the Grinding Chamber by Roll Feeder fitted below the Hopper. The impact of Hammers on the feed material against the Liner Plates and also the inter-collision of particles reduce the material into fine powder.

The Blower pushes air to the Grinding Chamber from both the sides through air delivery pipes and blows the powder to the Double Conical Air Classifier where the material first goes through outer Classifier Cone and then enters into the inner cone through twelve fineness regulating doors where due to the cyclonic gravitation process coarser particles rejected for regrinding and finer particles blows through the opening in the centre of the Classifier for collection in Delivery Cone.

Twelve fineness regulating doors are inter connected with a circular ring and handle to open or close as per the requirement of the mesh. As the doors open wider the product will be coarser and as the doors open narrow the product will be finer.

Excess air and fine air blown particles from Delivery Cone travels through pipe line to the Cyclonic Dust Collector Cone where super fine particles are trapped by the filter cloth bags and air is vented out partially. Return air goes to the grinding chamber again through the pipe to complete the air circuit without emitting the dust to the surroundings.

Production follows the rule “Coarser the Mesh Higher the Output, Finer the Mesh Lesser the Output” and “Softer the Material Higher the Output, Harder the Material Lesser the Output”

 

Operation & Maintenance
 OPERATION & MAINTENANCE
Rotation of the machine should always be as per the arrow mark shown.
Use the Hammers of equal weights opposite each other to avoid any vibration.
Before starting every day, pour 100 ml. lubricating oil in all the Bearings of Mill & Blower.
Blower Empeller to be checked once in a week and bolts & nuts tightened if necessary. Empeller to be replaced as per the wear & tear condition.
Cleaning of Grinding Chamber and Pipe Lines through the inspection windows to be done once is a week.
Chamber of Gear Box for Automatic Feeding Arrangement should be filled with lubricating oil upto the level so that the worm & gear run partially dipped in oil.
Bearing of Gear Box to be greased once in a month.
Cleaning of twelve fineness regulating windows, circulating rings & clamps to be done once in a month.
Light greasing of Bearings to be done once in a month.
Every Nuts & Bolts, pins of the Hammers of the machine to be minutely checked before starting the machine.
Pipe Lines and Cloth Tubes to be cleaned by light hammering.
Grinding Chamber is lined with 20 pcs. Liners and 8 pcs. Side Liners bolted with double nuts. It should be replaced if and when required.
Cloth Tubes fitted in the Cyclonic Cone should be washed and dried once in a month.
